Manchester is among the cheapest cities in the UK for students to live in, according to a study

According to the NatWest Student Living Index, Manchester is among the most affordable cities in the United Kingdom for students to live in. To determine the ranking for university cities and towns throughout the UK, the index considers student earnings and living expenses.

To identify the most reasonably priced location for students, the NatWest Student Living Index polled 3,052 students. The survey considers how much money students spend on entertainment and how much money they make from part-time jobs.

According to data from this year, the median rent for a month in the country is currently £591.90, with rent increases for students totaling an average of 30%. The second-largest expense for students after rent is still their grocery budget, which has increased significantly over the past year by 44%, to £109.57 every month.
