As part of a national student protest on October 25, DePaul students urged university administrators to back the lifting of Israel’s restrictions on Gaza.

Most of the students had signs that said “FREE Palestine” as they gathered in front of the university’s Student Center in Lincoln Park after leaving their courses.

Over a hundred students and a few faculty members marched across the DePaul campus as part of the protest organized by the student organization Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).

Students and SJP members are still furious with the university administration for their lack of assistance to the Palestinian people as a war continues in the Middle East. When Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, thousands of individuals have died.
