Elon Musk claims that he has chosen the new Twitter CEO and that he will resign away as CEO.
“I’m happy to share that X/Twitter has a new CEO. She would begin in around six weeks!” Musk wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
The term “X” relates to both the newly created legal organization that encompasses Twitter and Musk’s plans to turn Twitter into a “super app.”
He could not name the new CEO, although the Wall Street Journal claimed that Linda Yaccarino, the head of marketing for NBCUniversal, is in discussions to lead Twitter.
Yaccarino, who started working for NBCUniversal in 2011, left her role on Friday. On Monday, she was supposed to deliver an advertisement presentation to the advertising sector.
She is a famous member of the advertising community and a former Trump political nominee. She will have ties to Twitter, which has shed sponsors after Musk purchased the social media network 6 months ago.
