Sundar Pichai is a multi-millionaire Indian-American entrepreneur and business executive who hails from Silicon Valley. Alphabet Inc., the holding corporation that controls Google, is now led by him as CEO. On December 3rd, 2019, he took over as CEO of firm co-founder Larry Page. His birth date is 7 July 1972. Sundar Pichai grew up in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in India. Over the next three years, Sundar will receive an extra $240 million in stock options, which he will receive on December 20, 2019. In addition, his base compensation was increased from $650,000 to $2 million.

The new CEO
After Larry Page and Sergey Brin stepped down as co-founders of Google, Sundar Pichai was appointed to CEO of the whole Alphabet conglomerate on December 3, 2019.

Larry had been replaced as CEO by Sundar, and Sergey had been demoted to the role of President. Due to dual-class shares, the co-founders retain control of the company in a majority and super-ownership capacity. They’re still on the company’s board of directors, too.
