Amber Heard (born April 22, 1986) is an actress and activist from the United States. She earned her first starring role in 2006 horror-thriller All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, after a string of tiny roles.
She rose to prominence with supporting appearances in the films Never Back Down (2008) and Pineapple Express (2009). (2008). Heard first joined the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) in 2017 to play Atlantean princess Mera in the superhero picture Justice League, a role she would later reprise in Aquaman (2018), Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021), and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023).
Heard is a global spokesperson for cosmetics company L’Oréal Paris and a human rights campaigner in addition to acting. From 2015 until 2017, Heard was married to actor Johnny Depp. When Heard claimed that Depp had been aggressive throughout their relationship, their divorce received a lot of media attention.

Depp sued Heard for defamation in early 2019 after she published an op-ed in The Washington Post about domestic abuse. Heard launched a countersuit against Depp in 2020. In April 2022, the Depp v. Heard trial commenced in Virginia.

She also demanded $100,000 in legal fees and $25,000 in “forensic account charges” for “exclusive use and possession of 849 S.
