Godfather of Harlemis is back on the newly rebrandedMGM+ for another season of hijinks in a criminal story infused with historical facts. In the wake of the Harlem Riots, which marked a turning point in American civil rights history, the third season starts up where the last one left off, with both the city and Bumpy Johnson attempting to rebuild.

• Joe carried out a gentleman’s kidnapping on Mayme to try and strongarm Bumpy into taking his deal. Bumpy went ballistic and prepared to go to war with the Families.

• Elise, with Margaret’s support, decided to go to Ghana with Malcolm, while Margaret is to be relocated to South Carolina.
• Bumpy told the Families he wouldn’t be accepting their deal, provoking war, but Jose Battle agreed to partner with him.
