The 64-year-old actress earlier this week left a comment on a PEOPLE Instagram photo that featured an exclusive interview with Peta Murgatroyd, who recently shared her experience of losing a baby while her husband, Maks Chmerkovskiy, was abroad in Ukraine.
“There is nowhere for women to talk about how serious this loss is. I miscarried nine of my children “said Stone, a woman who has three adopted kids named Quinn Kelly, Laird Vonne, and Roan Joseph.
“It is not a tiny thing, physically or emotionally, yet we are led to believe that it is something to handle alone and in silence with a sense of failure.”
Then She Said, “instead of Getting the Desperately Needed Compassion
Then she said, “instead of getting the much-needed understanding, compassion, and healing that we sorely need. When male ideology is responsible for a woman’s health and wellbeing, it has deteriorated into a lax, uneducated, and aggressively abusive endeavor at best.”
Murgatroyd, 35, spoke for the first time in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE about her recent miscarriage. She remembered spending some time in a hospital bed after her 5-year-old son Shai saw her being taken away in an ambulance. On her son’s bedroom floor, entirely immobile after testing positive for coronavirus days earlier, she dialed for assistance.
The Professional Dancer Said. “my Breath Began to Suffer as A Result of How Awful It Became.
“I lacked power. Unable to operate a dishwasher I was unable to access the refrigerator to give Shai food or fetch him some toast “a professional dancer remarked. “My breath started to become affected because it became so awful. It had a lot of drama.”
Murgatroyd contacted her spouse in the hospital and put him on speaker phone when the doctor entered her room. Her husband was thousands of miles away in Ukraine.
“I was expecting him to break some terrible news. What’s wrong, I wondered. He lowered his face, “She remembered that evening in October 2021. Did you know that you were expecting? he asked.

The Person Who Answers the Phone
The 42-year-old Chmerkovskiy started to rejoice on the other end of the phone. She remembered that “He heard the doctor say, “You’re pregnant.” He misheard the announcement that Murgatroyd had already lost the child due to his enthusiasm, though.
Murgatroyd claimed that the realization that she was pregnant “ultimately had no idea” aided her in the healing process.
