This lot is available for the right offer this summer and has proven credentials as a title winner. For some, there are lines; for others, not so much.
Ten) Phil Jones
After their latest title win in 2012/13, only two Premier League winners are still with Manchester United, including the 30-year-old. The other is David De Gea, but there is no likelihood that the Spanish goalkeeper will be traded.
But Jones is available, and sources claim that Southampton, Leeds, and Fulham are among the Premier League clubs that are reportedly interested. Due to the former England defender’s £75,000 weekly pay, a loan move is Jones’ most likely method of leaving Old Trafford after more than ten years there.
Nine) Gabriel Jesus
Fans of any club that signs Jesus will be giddy with excitement to see Brazil forward in the attack next season. Those who don’t make the team can blame the No. 9 for finding it difficult to play in a lineup without any other centre forwards.
Both points of view would be correct, but Arsenal supporters appear to be extremely thrilled about the possibility of signing the four-time Premier League champion.
Eight) Lewandowski, Robert
Lewandowski, a striker from Poland whose contract is also about to expire, was in a similar situation to Mane and Jesus when Bayern pounced on Liverpool. Lewandowski has learned that he won’t get what he wants by staying where he is since the Bavarians are cutting back on contract spending.
His current goal is to relocate to Barcelona. And that makes sense. Despite their financial difficulties, Barca still has a lot of influence when it comes to luring the best names around the globe. What matters is whether they can afford them.
Seven) Frenkie De Jong
Selling De Jong to Manchester United would allow Barcelona to pay for Lewandowski’s transfer. Which they undoubtedly will once the Red Devils reorganise and resume functioning as a major league team.
De Jong, whose lone championship medal honours Ajax’s 2018–19 Eredivisie victory, appears to have understood that Barca would prefer to get rid of him because the midfielder is more valuable to them off the field than on it.
Six) Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Oxlade-Chamberlain has also been linked to a move to United, although it seems extremely unlikely that the former England midfielder will go up the M62 to become the first player since Phil Chisnell to switch teams between Liverpool and the Red Devils.
The Liverpool Echo claims that Oxlade-Chamberlain has little chance of moving on. The 28-year-old has one year left until he can sign with another club, but rumours have it that Jurgen Klopp would prefer to keep him around for one more since Liverpool won’t be adding another midfielder to their roster this summer.
Five) Marco Asensio
If there was a chance Klopp may finally land Asensio, would Liverpool alter their midfield strategy?
Since 2018, when it was claimed that Real Madrid turned down a massive offer that was so out of character for the Reds that it was difficult to believe, Liverpool has been connected with the right-sided midfielder.

Four) Raheem Sterling
Sterling was mentioned as a potential Asensio replacement at Real. That would have been a more intriguing scenario than the English winger switching from Chelsea’s darker shade of blue to City blue.
Sterling has expressed a desire to test himself abroad, but it appears he is now content to return to London, with Chelsea optimistic about reaching an agreement with City despite having their initial offer turned down.
Three) Romelu Lukaku
The Belgian striker appears likely to return to Italy in what appears to be the deal of a lifetime for Inter Milan, putting an end to his nightmare at Chelsea.
The Italians are willing to pay about £8.5 million to borrow the forward, who won the Serie A title during his previous stint at the San Siro, from Chelsea. He will return to Stamford Bridge after he turns 30, which was previously believed to be the age at which footballers become no longer useful.
Two) Sven Botman
Despite Newcastle’s best attempts, the Lille defender will also be moving to Milan this summer.
The Toon and Rossoneri both wanted Botman in January, but Lille decided to keep the centre-back over Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG. Botman won the Ligue 1 championship in 2020–21. Newcastle has so far agreed to all of the terms Milan and Lille have reportedly been negotiating during the winter.
Botman is rumoured to prefer the idea of transferring to Milan over Tyneside, but the 22-year-old will accept the offer from the team who offers Lille the most money. Which increases the likelihood of a bidding war. Although Milan has some cash on hand, few clubs can now compete with Newcastle.
One) Neymar
The lack of Neymar speculation surrounding Newcastle is somewhat unexpected. One of the rare players who hasn’t been touted as a target for the Magpies is the champion in Brazil, Spain, and France.
