Vick Hope, Joel McHale, and Melvin Odoom hosted the second annual LEGO CON on Saturday, June 18, which was a webcast by the LEGO Group. Angus MacLane, the director of the newest Pixar movie Lightyear, and Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series, were special guests.
The two-hour event featured conversations with LEGO designers as well as a global LEGO Masters build project to honor the 90th anniversary of the brand. However, the numerous set revelations were the highlights of the show. Two of the sets will bring back traditional LEGO themes, and the other sets will carry on LEGO’s licensed properties, such as Avatar, Star Wars, Marvel, Super Mario, and others. Every set will debut later this summer.
Retro Lego Castle Is Back
A castle or theme closely related to a castle hasn’t been released since 2013, thus the new historical LEGO Lion Knights’ Castle is enormous and intricate. A functioning drawbridge and a millstone-turning water wheel are included in Set #10305. The interior of the castle, which includes a dungeon, an armory, and a kitchen, can be explored by builders by opening it.
Even a tiny replica of the 1978 “Classic” yellow castle is present. It costs $399.98 at retail and has 4514 parts. The start date is August 3.
Retro Lego Space Is Back
Another throwback, this one is a sizable recreation of the iconic Galaxy Explorer from 1979, complete with living quarters, retractable legs, and four astronaut Minifigures. There are 1254 pieces in the brand-new LEGO Galaxy Explorer, which costs $99.99. August 1 marks the start of it.
Discovered Lego Minecraft Locations
Two new Minecraft sets are coming out later this summer. One of them is the Skeleton Dungeon (Set #21189), which contains a spawner and rocks that may be set up to fall on the skeletons pursuing you. It comes in 364 parts and costs $44.99 off the shelf. August 1 marks the start of it.
In the second set, called Abandoned Village (Set #2190), you fight zombie peasants amid decaying ruins. With a suggested retail price of $34.99, it has 422 parts. Likewise, it will debut on August 1.
Home Decor Inspired by Lego
In recent years, LEGO has experimented with utilizing Dots—smooth, round, 1×1 studs—to make realistic mosaics of well-known images and artwork. With vivid greens, blues, oranges, and pinks, the next LEGO Floral Art (Set #31207) mosaic set is more flexible than the previous one and lets you make your own original floral artwork.
When you have a color scheme for your home, you can hang it there. The 2,780-piece set has a suggested retail price of $79.99. The debut date is August 1.

Discovered Lego Avatar Sets
The LEGO Avatar kits have been in production for years, much like the eagerly anticipated film sequels. We got a sneak glance at one of them at LEGO CON 2022: a replica of a Toruk and The Tree of Souls (Set #75574). There are several Navi Minifigures included with it, and they have long arms and legs and tails. 1212 parts make up the set, which will sell for $149.99. It will debut on October 1st.
