An Austin Firefighter Was Stabbed In His Thigh While Everyone Was Busy Putting Out The Fire In Several Areas Near I-25 And Riverside. Said Man Approached Them And Became Aggressive And Stab One Of Them. The Firefighter Was Brought To The Hospital And Resting At Home.

Austin Fire Department posted on Facebook about the incident that happened while their firefighter is putting out fires near I-35 and riverside in downtown area. While firefighters are busy putting out the fire in the area, a man suddenly approached them and became aggressive and stabbed one of them hitting his thigh.
He was then brought to the hospital to treat the wound and was released thereafter. The department said that the certain FF member was at home and he’s doing fine. The suspect was arrested by Austin Police department and was forced to shut down the I-35 for an hour.
