Death toll reached 110 as exhumation continues in Indian Ocean Coast. These deaths were related to a cult in Kenya. But the exhumation stopped due to rains and the number could rise when exhumation will resume. Investigation is ongoing, and already found 5 people alive in the Chakama ranch.

Autopsies were orchestrated directed by President William Ruto. Opposition leader Raila Odinga said that officials should make a thorough investigation and autopsies to find whether or not these deaths were a form of human sacrifices or for the organ trade. The government was criticized due to its slow paced reaction on the matter and denying people entry on the forest where the event took place.
