Pawelsky brothers will be sentenced to 25 years in prison while their accomplice is sentenced to 7 years. These three were charged with 81 counts of trafficking after stealing truckloads of catalytic converter which was then sold to black market worth $170million. The District Attorney in Nassau, Anne T Donnelly said that between 2021 and 2022 Alan and Andrew Pawelsky were stealing these converters from states far from California. Precious metals were dissected from the inside and sold to refineries.
They are also involve in money laundering, possession of stolen property and conspiracy but was arraigned by Judge Helen Gugerty, They pleaded not guilty with a bond of $550,100 in cash. Jovanie Clark their accomplice was charged with grand larceny, possession of stolen property, auto stripping and possession of burglar tools.
