Michael J. Zacharias, 65 Year Old Priest In Ohio Was Charged With 6 Count Of Sex Trafficking A Minor And An Adult. In 2020 He Was Arrested And Was Sentenced To Life Imprisonment.

Priest in Ohio Molested both Minor and Adult

One Michael J. Zacharias, a priest on Ohio was found guilty of sex trafficking a minor and an adult by force, threat and intimidation. In 2020, he was convicted of life imprisonment. His criminal acts started in the 90’s, and how he handled it since he was still in the seminary in Toledo.

Zacharias was ordained in 2002 and since then the victims he met since seminary school was the still same person he abused, but would include a minor recently. He started with adult when they were still young, he groomed them to perform commercial sex and used his position to have acces to these children.

Victims became attached to Zacharias as they see him as a father figure and scared that if they do not follow him they would be lost. The three boys were exposed to using opium and the priest was giving them money to buy them and they do sexual acts for the money given to them.
