New Israel Blood Center Continues to Save Lives After Moving its Equipment and Facility into Underground Bunker Following Attacks

The new blood center in Israel named Marcus National Blood Services Center continued to save lives after moving its equipment and facility into an underground bunker following attacks as the new blood center’s scheduled opening was halted.

According to a report published in US News, the new blood center moved its 6-story facility and equipment 50 feet underground to ensure that their blood services continued amidst the attacks and other natural calamities, which can easily destroy any infrastructure, including a blood center, in an instant.

Despite moving its facility and equipment underground, the new blood center did its best to provide help despite experiencing difficulties to save thousands of injured residents and military personnel, wherein the new blood center immediately transferred the blood donated to different hospitals to treat wounded individuals.

New Israel Blood Center Continues Its Operation Underground to Save People Amidst Attacks

Following the war between Israel and Hamas militants, the new blood center continued its operation underground, with new equipment and more protected facilities to prevent being destroyed during attacks and wars.

After the moving of the new blood center, it can transfer blood immediately uninterrupted with sufficient protection despite the continuous attacks just to save people’s lives, The Times of Israel reported.
