According to a report published in US News, the causes of neurodevelopment disorders, such as autism, have not yet been proven; however, recent research revealed that deceased young children with neurodevelopment disorders have suffered from an inflammatory brain disease before their deaths, suggesting that an inflammatory brain disease could cause these disorders.
With the increasing cases of inflammatory brain disease in young children, researchers found that it could damage the brain cells and disrupt the developmental processes of young children as early as 1 year old experiencing inflammatory brain disease, slowly affecting their emotions, understanding, and social skills.
