Five people’s lives were saved by the organ donations of a late comedian

The lives of 5 people who received assistance from comedian Kenny DeForest’s organ donations will bear witness to his legacy. Sadly, on October 13th, DeForest passed unexpectedly from a brain bleed he had suffered while falling off an e-bike in New York City. His sudden passing at the age of 37 created a vacuum in the comedy community as well as beyond. But his unselfish act of organ donation is evidence of his kindness and the long-lasting influence he had on people.

According to LiveOnNY, a nonprofit organization devoted to organ donation, DeForest’s kind act of organ donation saved the lives of 5 others in need. He generously gave 7 essential organs, offering people hope and an additional shot at life.
