Ken Paxton, the Republican attorney general of Texas, said he thinks Pfizer, a pharmaceutical corporation, may have been misled regarding the COVID-19 vaccine’s effectiveness, which could have been as low as 1%.
“In this case, we’re very confident they lied concerning the safety and the efficacy of this substance, claiming that this… vaccine was 95% successful, when in actuality, it may have proved less than 1% effective,” Paxton stated on Wednesday’s episode of the “Just the News, No Noise” television series.
Paxton, who alleges that Pfizer misled its customers about the COVID-19 vaccine’s efficacy, filed a lawsuit against the corporation this past month.
