Willard Mitt Romney stated that a Trump victory in 2024 would be “devastating for our country “

When asked about his preferences among the remaining candidates, Willard Mitt Romney stated, “Anybody. I’d be happy to support any one of the Republicans. Maybe not Vivek, but the others that are running would be acceptable to me, and I’d be happy to vote for them.”

Willard Mitt Romney, the GOP’s presidential candidate in 2012, hinted at a potential willingness to cross party lines, stating, “I’d be happy to vote for a number of the Democrats too.” He did not specify Democratic candidates but suggested that it would be an improvement over what he perceives as the shortcomings of both Trump and President Joe Biden.

Romney, who refrained from voting for Trump in both 2016 and 2020, revealed that he wrote to his wife in 2016 expressing his choice and indicated a likelihood of doing the same if a 2024 rematch occurs. Noteworthy is Romney’s announcement that he won’t seek reelection next year. The comments resurfaced on social media, sparking discussions about Romney’s stance on Trump and potential future political moves, especially in light of his decision to exit the upcoming reelection race.
