Update on stimulus checks: Some states may provide direct payments valued up to $1,500

The maximum sum one can earn from such payouts is $1,500, and numerous states are already or will be in the coming weeks delivering payouts to qualified residents.

These states are issuing various payouts, some of which are part of tax rebates and others which are part of programs. The quantity of money one gets from such payouts varies according to the state they live in, whether they are married or not, and the quantity of income they make annually.

Here is a list of  the states:

• Maine
• New Jersey
• New Mexico
