Oregon State will begin replacing Oregon SNAP benefits that were stolen through ETB cards

The Oregon State will begin replacing Oregon SNAP benefits that were stolen through their Electronic Bank Transfer cards. Electronic theft includes card cloning, card skimming, and other methods.

Oregon SNAP benefits theft victims must be grateful to the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023. The state will refund the SNAP benefits stolen on or after October 1, 2022.

Oregon SNAP benefits stolen on October 1 to May 22, 2023, can be replaced. The Oregon SNAP benefits theft victims must request a replacement. The state cannot replace Oregon SNAP benefits stolen before October 1, 2023.
