Taxpayers can also purchase online and look for qualified items under the Texas tax-free weekend; however, the charges for the delivery or shipping of the items qualified for the Texas tax-free weekend could be included in the item’s total price upon purchasing, Kris 6 News reported.

Under the Texas tax-free weekend, school supplies, clothing, and shoes are expected to be tax-free, including book bags, chalk, calculators, crayons, erasers, pencils, notebooks, and papers—all essential student items.
Aside from the school supplies mentioned, school items that also qualified for the Texas tax-free weekend include lunch boxes and electronic devices that can be used in schools, according to The Dallas Morning News report.
