Taylor Swift’s fans, usually called “Swifties,” were reportedly helping boost the US economy following the increasing hotel revenues in different cities during Swift’s The Eras Tour as Taylor Swift’s fans spent their time and money traveling and booking hotels to stay just to attend the concert.
With Taylor Swift’s fans coming in and out of the cities, various hotels have seen an increase in their hotel revenues which was much higher than the hotel revenues during the pandemic, specifically in Seattle, wherein one of the hotels claimed that they recorded 93% hotel bookings only for the weekend due to Taylor Swift’s fans.
Due to the hotel bookings going up with Taylor Swift’s fans visiting the cities, hotels expressed their gratefulness to Taylor Swift’s fans choosing their hotels as they have been struggling to recover from the impact of the pandemic on their revenues, Montana’s News Leader reported.

Officials Credit Taylor Swift’s Fans for Boosting Economy and Tourism Industry During The Eras Tour
Aside from boosting the economy, officials also credited Taylor Swift’s fans for helping various cities promote tourism, as some of Taylor Swift’s fans also visit other places near the concert venues.
Despite the impact of the pandemic on the US economy and tourism industry, Taylor Swift’s fans largely contributed to boosting various industries in different cities, NBC News reported.
