Social Security change: Millions of people receive direct payments of up to $4,555 in a single day

The Social Security Administration has scheduled that one of May’s 3 Social Security money transfers, which could total a maximum of $4,555, would be distributed to pensioners on Wednesday.

On May 10, the 2nd Wednesday of May, the payment which is going to be distributed to people who were born during the first and tenth of a month—will be given out. On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesdays of every month, the payments are distributed.

On May 17, the 3rd Wednesday of May, the 2nd distribution, which would be given to pensioners’ birth during the eleventh and twentieth of a month, would be made available. For babies who were born between May 21 and May 31, the last round would be delivered a week later, on May 24.

Depending on their age upon retirement, each beneficiary receives a different sum of income. Based on the SSA, beneficiaries who resigned at 67 may get a maximum payment of $3,627, individuals who resigned at 62 can earn a total of $2,572, and individuals who postponed retirement till age 70 could earn a maximum payment of $4,555 each month.
