A Lawsuit Was Filed In 2016 To Safeway And Albertsons After Tricking Their Consumers In Believing They Are Having Less When The Big Stores Made Sales Into Getting More BOGO Deals In Oregon.
Members can claim settlements after being tricked by the stores
Members of Safeway and Albertsons who availed their meat promo will claim at least $200 after a lawsuit was filed in 2016. The lawsuit originated from making the consumer believes they are getting more from the meat sales given by the store, when they are only getting less for only the price of one. A total of $107million is expected to be dispersed until June 16. These claims are for those members who availed the said promo from May 4, 2015 to September 7, 2016.

The stores did not admit to any of the accusation but agreed to give settlement to the Oregon members who availed the promo.
