A pilot program is being launched to provide pre-paid debit cards to NYC Migrants!

The pre-paid debit cards will be provided to an initial 500 families of NYC migrants with children for use exclusively in supermarkets, grocery, convenience stores, and bodegas.

The city is affiliating with Mobility Capital Finance for the pilot program to help NYC migrants.

The Mobility Capital Finance CEO and founder Wole Coaxum said that the goal of their company is to expand access to financial resources for individuals excluded from US banking, such as NYC migrants, while helping the city’s local economy. He was honored to be a part of the effort to welcome and support NYC migrants as they begin to plant their roots in the United States.
