Oklahoma teachers are expected to receive pay raises between $3,000 and $6,000 under an education bill package to provide $500 million a year in aid for several schools.
The education package aims to provide pay raises for Oklahoma teachers, paid maternity leave, school safety aid, and additional funding to public schools.
According to the education package, the private school tax credits will be capped at $150 million in the next tax year, having an additional $50 million for the following years each year, The Center Square reported.

Oklahoma Teachers To Receive Pay Raises, Other School Aid
Aside from the pay raises, Oklahoma teachers will also expect safety programs that would give security to various Oklahoma schools in every district and be given six weeks of paid maternity leave each year.
The education package the Oklahoma teachers will receive will also provide tax relief for individuals to afford tuition fees in private schools.
The education package that will give the Oklahoma teachers is expected to be approved and will take effect on July 1 upon approval.
