Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed HB 1934, the “Choice Tax Credit Bill.” into law last Thursday afternoon.
The new Choice tax credits law of the Oklahoma Governor will make school choices easier, especially for those in middle-class families
Oklahoma Governor signed a bill that provides tax refunds to families for private school tuition fees, homeschooling, and out-of-zip code schools.
Oklahoma Governor signed a bill into law with these measures:
- Families earning over $250,000 yearly, their student can get a $5,000 tax credit
- Families earning between $225,000 and $250,000 yearly, their student can get a $6,000 tax credit
- Families earning between $150,000 and $225,000 yearly, their student can get a $6,500 tax credit
- Families earning between $75,000 and $150,000 yearly, their student can get a $7,000 tax credit
- Families earning under $75,000, their student can get a $7,500 tax credit
- The law also provides $1,000 to homeschoolers
The new Choice tax credits law, signed by the Oklahoma Governor, will make parents provide their students with a good education.
