Eligible Homeowners and Low-Income Families in Pontiac Will Receive Over $3 Million in Relief Under New Program

Funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the new program will give more than $3 million to eligible homeowners and low-income families who have a hard time repairing and giving maintenance to their homes and properties in Pontiac.

The new program will help homeowners and low-income families to properly improve and take care of their properties by providing them with professional contractors and workers to inspect and repair their homes or establishments depending on the repairs needed.

Under the new program, homeowners and low-income families must sign documents stating that they allow the contractors and workers to begin the construction.

How to Be Eligible for the New Program with Over $3 Million in Relief

According to The Detroit News, individuals applying for the new program should be making below 80% income and living in the properties they want to improve and repair to be eligible for up to $25,000 for each household.

Homeowners and low-income families are encouraged to apply online for the new program with the complete documents until August 18 to be eligible for the relief.
