Medicare recipients are receiving COVID-19 test kits even though no one requested them. The arrival of COVID-19 test kits across the country is believed to be a national fraud scheme.

There is Alleged National Fraud Scheme involving Medicare COVID-19 Test kits

ABC11 Troubleshooter investigated first the Medicare fraud scheme on the first days of May. Since the report was released to the public, many people come forward.

Medicare was allowed only to send to their recipients eight tests a month. But many Medicare recipients receive more than the required test kits even though they haven’t requested them. The recipients worried because it might be a fraud scheme.

One recipient checked her Medicare bill of statements and found that Medicare paid $94.06 for each set despite not ordering the test kits. She thought it was a fraud scheme.

Medicare advised their recipients to be more vigilant on the fraud scheme involving COVID-19 test kits

Even though the fraud scheme involving COVID-19 test kits has not directly impacted Medicare recipients but their taxes pay them.

Because of the recent fraud scheme reported by the Medicare recipients, they were advised that if they received a COVID-19 test kit they didn’t order, they must inform Medicare immediately.
