Minnesotans can expect to receive tax refund checks from the state if only Governor Tim Walz signs the bill passed to him by the state lawmakers.
Minnesotans are expecting to receive the tax rebate checks in the early fall
If the Governor of Minnesota signs the bill passed by the lawmakers, the Minnesotans could receive tax rebate checks in early fall.
If the bill becomes a law, Minnesotans can be eligible to receive the following checks:
- Minnesotans can receive $260 for individual taxpayers;
- Minnesotans can receive $520 for married couples; and
- Minnesotans can receive $260 for each dependent for a maximum of $1,300 in tax rebates
The Minnesotans must have an income of $75,000 for individual taxpayers and $150,000 for families, so taxpayers above that amount get nothing.

Eligible Minnesotans must update their bank information and mail address
The state revenue plans to use the 2021 tax rebates filing. This is because for they know who is eligible.
Minnesotans will not need to apply for tax rebates, and those who are qualified must update their mailing address and banking information before the distribution of tax rebates earlier fall.
