Minnesota taxpayers expect tax rebate checks under a proposed $3 billion tax cut to provide tax relief for eligible families and individuals, especially low-income families, AP News reported.
According to the supporters of the tax cut bill, Minnesota taxpayers will benefit from the bill that aims to cut child poverty for several states by receiving one-time tax rebates depending on the status of the taxpayers.
The eligible Minnesota taxpayers will provide $260 in direct payments for individual filers who have $75,000 or below, and married couple filers who have up to $150,000 income will receive $520 in direct payments, wherein families who have children up to three could get up to $1,300 tax rebates.

The tax cut bill for Minnesota taxpayers received mixed reactions from Republicans and Democrats after the originally proposed tax rebates changed during the process, wherein the individual filers are supposed to receive $1,000 in direct payments while the married couple filers will receive $2,000 payments.
The $3 billion tax cut bill is expected to have the final approval to provide relief for Minnesota taxpayers.
