Minnesota Taxpayers Will Expect Up To $520 Checks in a $3 Billion Tax Package
Under the $3 billion tax package, eligible Minnesota taxpayers will receive up to $520 rebate checks depending on the income of the filers, which will greatly help eligible taxpayers to get relief.
According to the proposal, the Minnesota taxpayers who will get the rebate checks are single filers who have $75,000 income and couple filers who have $150,000 income, wherein the single filers will receive $260 rebate checks while couple filers will get $520 rebate checks.
Aside from the rebate checks for the Minnesota taxpayers, the proposal will also include some assistance, such as $160 million to be allocated to state aid and $300 million that will be allocated to public safety, KARE 11 reported.

Minnesota Taxpayers Will Receive Lower Rebate Checks Than the Original Proposal Under $3 Billion Tax Package
The Republicans expressed their disappointment despite the progress of the tax package after the final version showed the reduction of the rebate checks the Minnesota taxpayers will be supposed to receive.
From $275 to $260 rebate checks for single filers, from $550 to $520 rebate checks, and not including single filers with more than $75,000 income and married couples making over $150,000.
