More student loan borrowers will experience the Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief after the Department of Education said students can avail of the Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief through the IDR program. This is amidst the pressure after the Supreme Court rejected the Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief of President Biden.
The IDR was first announced last 2022 and is counting on more borrowers to be included in the Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief through the program. Those who have been paying their student loans for three years without problems will be eligible for the Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief through IDR program.

About 2.3 million out of 4.4 million borrowers have been repaying their student loans for two decades years without any delinquencies and could avail of the Student Loan Forgiveness Debt Relief.
