Tech workers chose to have less income and be happier, said one Meta tech worker

About 56% of tech workers in an official poll from Blind Survey said they would accept equal or less pay in a new job, and 45% of those respondents said they go to a dull job market amid mass layoffs across the tech workers industry.

While tech workers are struggling to find job security in their field, they’re also concerned about working in a company with a healthy environment. Other reasons for availing less salary included concerns about work-life balance in the company.

For example, Meta is known for high salary packages for tech workers but has each laid off thousands of tech workers over the past few months.

The study resonances concern of tech workers on social media. Over the current months, hundreds of tech workers have participated in a Blind survey to question whether it’s the end of $500,000-plus salaries due to mass layoffs.
