Low-Income Families Will Expect Utility Payments to Reduce Heating and Cooling Costs Under LIHEAP
Several eligible low-income families will receive utility payments of up to $12,300 to reduce heating and cooling costs under LIHEAP, which aims to help pay bills during hot months in different states.
According to reports from The Gazette, the program will provide assistance to several low-income families who are having difficulties paying their electric bills or avail cooling equipment inside their homes.
Aside from the utility payments to address energy costs, the utility payments for low-income families can also be used to repair and install other cooling systems, which will be a great help, especially with the increasing temperature.

Low-Income Families from Different States are Encouraged to Apply for Utility Payments from LIHEAP
Several low-income families from different states are encouraged to apply for utility payments to be eligible for between $400 to $12,300 in utility payments, wherein low-income families from Kentucky will receive $400 while eligible low-income families in Texas will be entitled to $12,300.
Eligible low-income families can contact LIHEAP for more details about the applications for utility payments, as different states open applications at different times.
