Satisfeed, a local nonprofit organization founded by Tim Turner, mainly aims to provide relief to over 300 families weekly by distributing various products and food across Gwinnett County and other counties.
According to the founder, the local nonprofit organization helped several families in need because of the widespread food shortages in Georgia because of the pandemic and the current inflation affecting different counties.
The local nonprofit organization wanted several families to receive the relief they deserved and address the local hunger issues and the lack of local nonprofit organizations focusing on the problems.
Local Nonprofit Organization Started to Give Several Families Enough Access to Food
The local nonprofit organization was created to provide several families with enough access to food and other staples without thinking about what they will eat for the next days and weeks, WABE reported.
The local nonprofit organization’s founder revealed that he started the program to distribute relief and asked for help from several individuals to have enough resources and volunteers.
The families in Georgia struggling to have enough food daily are encouraged to go to North Metro Baptist Church, where the local nonprofit organization holds the weekly distribution every Saturday.
