Home Fund Assistance to be given to Immigrants cladding eviction

Home Fund assistance was announced on Tuesday morning by Oregon Worker Relief, it is based for immigrants who are fronting eviction. This fund is solely to assist those people for a short term rent stay.

This has been done previously, the Climate change fund helped those people who lost their job due to the weather, such as highest heat index and when the Covid-19 hit in 2020. thus fund pays up to two months of assistance, which include counseling, food assistance and job training until they can fully recover.

Oregon is battling housing crisis mostly felt by the immigrants which is most prone to being homeless. A data have shown that one out 10 children are living with relatives that are hanging on a thread.
