Eligible Applicants Will Receive $1,000 Monthly Payments Under the Guaranteed Income Program in Los Angeles County
Eligible applicants expect to receive $1,000 monthly payments under a guaranteed income program called Breathe in Los Angeles County, which aims to help them meet their daily needs.
According to a report from Washington Examiner, the guaranteed income program will randomly select 200 former foster children from eligible applicants in addition to the 1,000 applicants of the guaranteed income program selected last year who already received their monthly payments.
The applicants selected to receive monthly payments from the guaranteed income program are also expected to participate in a study requiring them to complete surveys to measure the results of the guaranteed income program, wherein participants will receive a $30 gift card for each completed survey.
Eligible Residents Will Expect Monthly Payments Under the Guaranteed Income Program in Los Angeles County
Under the guaranteed income program, residents aged at least 21 who have been foster children until 18 years old will be entitled to monthly payments from the guaranteed income program.
The eligible residents are encouraged to submit applications for the guaranteed income program on the official website until July 3 to receive the monthly payments.
