Homeowners who are struggling with their taxes are targets of House Lawmakers in their $100 million compromise. It would also help seniors citizens who are working, the tax deducted would depend on their income.

Rep. Jeff Thompson, R-Lizton, author of the property tax bill said that its time to take care of their homeowners. and also limit the taxes collected from schools.

Indiana Constitution states that the tax should be lower. It was a solution that was reversed by Indiana’s senate on Thursday. And concluded some proposals:

  •  tax study
  • career education
  • septic systems
  • administrative interpretations of laws
  • floodplain maps and alcohol
