Following a significant delay, the new $914 Social Security Supplemental Income payout will be sent next week

After not getting a payout in April, all SSI beneficiaries will start getting an additional payout of up to $914 on May 1.

Recipients got their April payout before March 31, which is why payouts were left out this month.

SSI benefits are distributed on the final working day before the end of the month whenever the first working day of the month occurs on a holiday or a weekend.

Along with receiving 2 payouts in June, September, and December, beneficiaries can additionally skip payouts in July and October.
