The Fanboys Marketplace owner Mike Rogers was accused of embezzling over $23,000 from vendors and former staff of Fanboys Marketplace before making false cybersecurity allegations against former marketplace managers.
The owner of the Fanboys Marketplace failed to pay its vendors due to lack of money and prioritizing paying his debt and bills to other locations of the Fanboys Marketplace, and even failed to give paychecks to the managers of the Fanboys Marketplace, The Moore County News Press reported.
Following the embezzlement claims, the Fanboys Marketplace owner accused the former managers of accessing the social media accounts of the Fanboys Marketplace without his permission and even deleted important files in the company’s computer, leading to the firing of the managers of the Fanboys Marketplace.

Vendors and Former Staff Claims Fanboys Marketplace Owner Does Not Respond to Their Emails Regarding the Embezzlement Allegations
The vendors and the former staff of Fanboys Marketplace claimed that the owner did not respond to any of their emails regarding the embezzlement allegations.
The complainants wanted the owner of the Fanboys Marketplace to return them the money they should have, and some of them considered filing a lawsuit against him, Kera News reported.
