Several eligible low-income families in Orange County will receive various assistance under the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance program, including rental, security, and utility deposit assistance.
As part of the housing assistance program, eligible low-income families will get assistance that will help them pay their monthly rent and utility expenses for almost two years.
The low-income families in need are required to be legal citizens and residents of Orange County, who are included in the 80 percent below of the average income for the county, to be eligible for rental and utility assistance, The Orange Leader reported.

Low-income families eligible for tenant-based rental assistance are encouraged to meet the requirements and apply for the program, which will greatly benefit them and their family’s needs.
Following the release of the details about the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program, eligible low-income families can submit applications from June 23 until July 22 in an online portal.
The eligible low-income families will be randomly selected and will not be based on any other status other than the requirements for eligibility.
