New Property Tax Bill to Provide Property Tax Relief

The new property tax bill or commonly called as the Senate Bill 23-303 proposed by the Democrats aims to provide property tax relief and ensure that local services and education are not affected negatively or experience loss of funding.

According to some officials who supported the new property tax bill, it may look complicated as it moves forward; however, the bill will give solutions to current issues regarding the property tax of residents.

Despite the advantages of the new property tax bill, the Republicans expressed their opposition to the recent passing of the bill and walked out of the session, Our Community Now reported.

Republicans believed that the new property tax bill should undergo another procedure to discuss the bill’s advantages and disadvantages more.
