Americans can score free money from settlement but will need to take action

Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) was wrongly charged for healthcare premiums, according to Top Class Actions. This happened on a monthly basis and was allegedly subtracted from pension checks.

The CTA operates trains and buses told The U.S. Sun in the email that the Retiree Health Care Trust was the defendant in the settlement suit.

The independent entity has decided to settle negatively impacted CTA retirees $ 80 million under a settlement.

It’s vague what the settlement payments range from but you could be eligible for some cash

This could be some Americans, you are currently a retiree who was hired by the CTA before September 6, 2001.

Those who retired before January 1, 2007, and were qualified for health benefits on July 1, 2009, were identified as class members in the settlement suit.

No action is needed to claim the settlement cash, but class members were sent a letter informing them of their eligibility to their last known address. Those qualified will receive a check in the mail.
