The Clarksburg City Council in West Virginia approved an ordinance granting new retail businesses located in vacant buildings downtown a 10-year business property tax break.

The Clarksburg City Council in West Virginia approved an ordinance for a property tax break

The Clarksburg City Council in West Virginia conducted a regular session. Before the passing of the Property Tax ordinance, the council awarded two police officers of Clarksburg Police for outstanding investigative work.

After the awarding, the Clarksburg City Council approved a property tax break for new retail businesses which occupied abandoned buildings downtown.

The Clarksburg City Council approved an ordinance granting a 10-year property tax break for the new retail businesses filling the building of the city downtown.

The Clarksburg City Council’s new ordinance will exclude new businesses on a property tax

The new ordinance will qualify new businesses for a B&O property tax waiver for five years and another 50% for five more years.
