California Residents Eligible for Direct Payments of Up to $500 Monthly; Check Here

Sacramento, California’s 2nd batch of payouts from a guaranteed income program are being made directly to qualified citizens up to $500 per month.

Starting in 2021, the monthly direct payments give 100 families $300 per month. Unfortunately, the payout is concluding, and a new group of homes will now receive it, according to The U.S. Sun.

Since July 1st, eligible families have earned $500 each month. Mayor Darrel Steinberg is providing the funding for this initiative, which is managed by United Way California Capital Region. A budget from the American Rescue Plan Act of $750,000 was utilized.

How do I become eligible for the $500 per month in direct payments?

While it is necessary for the monthly direct settlements, you must apply first. The target date was April 15. You have to fulfill the financial criteria and reside in Sacramento.
