The Bronx Food Pantry said they are seeing more people show up in their food pantry for help than before.

The Food Pantry in the Bronx said the cut of SNAP benefits due to an end of the COVID-19 pandemic funding program. The situation makes it harder to lower-income households.

Some SNAP beneficiaries who went to Bronx Food Pantry look abundant because they get more food. In reality, they stock up because they cannot afford anything shortly.
