With new Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan, the administration will aim to provide $39 billion in debt relief to more than 800,000 loan borrowers following original Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan worth $400 billion being rejected.

Under Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan, eligible loan borrowers will receive notices for the debt relief they will receive, while loan borrowers who are not yet enrolled in new Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan can still be eligible for the debt relief as long as they make qualifying payments.
