Americans have only 24 hours left to submit applications for “guaranteed” $1,000 monthly payouts; find out whether you’re eligible

One of the most recent places to offer its people who require a basic income is Los Angeles, California.

Entries for Breathe, a new guaranteed income program, are now being accepted by qualified residents.

The program’s name refers to its goal of providing users with an opportunity to “breathe” by providing an effective financial cushion.

Successful candidates will receive payouts of $1,000 each month for an entire period of 2 years, or $24,000 for each recipient.

This initiative was formerly run by Los Angeles in 2022, providing 1,000 households with monthly cash assistance for 3 years.

Although there are 1,200 available spots this year, foster youngsters must meet severe eligibility requirements.

Those interested in the expanded program need to be between the ages of 21 and 23 and enter 24 before September 1 to be eligible.
