A 73-year-old Alliston lottery jackpot winner identified as Ronald O’Leary won $100,000 despite not buying a ticket after winning a free Ontario ticket from Circle K, wherein the lottery jackpot winner immediately returned home to check if the free ticket he got had matched.

According to a report published in The US Sun, the lottery jackpot winner discovered that the free Ontario ticket matched the exact order of six of seven numbers in encore numbers that were drawn, leading to the lottery jackpot winner getting $100,000 without buying a ticket.

During an interview, the lottery jackpot winner revealed that he had been playing lottery games for years as a pastime and won several prizes, but the recent win of the lottery jackpot winner was the largest among others, only using a free Ontario ticket.

Following his $100,000 win from a free Ontario ticket, the lottery jackpot winner said he considered getting a new truck with the money, but he was still thinking about how he should spend it, CTV News reported.

Before the lottery jackpot winner won the free ticket, another win of $35 million in Canada shocked Ruth Bowes and her family as she and her husband tried to double-check the matched numbers, validating her win.
